Akshit Rana is Head of Operations at Sapphire Broking. He is responsible for the firm's operational backbone - the people, processes, and systems that turn trading instructions into settled trades and keep client experience consistent across every touchpoint.
His remit covers the full operational lifecycle: client onboarding and KYC, order routing and execution, post-trade settlement, exchange and depository reconciliation, and the technology platforms that tie it all together. Akshit works closely with the broking, compliance, and technology teams to ensure operations scale smoothly as the firm grows.
Day-to-day, that means making sure trades clear without friction, that new clients can open accounts quickly and correctly, that statements and contract notes go out on time, and that issues - when they do come up - get resolved before they affect clients.
