The Edit PDF tool is a visual editor that lets you change a PDF right in your browser. You can add text boxes, drop in images, highlight passages, place white-out boxes over content you want to hide, and draw freehand on the page. Every element you add can be moved, resized, or deleted until it looks right, and when you are done you download a finished PDF with your changes baked in.
Because it runs entirely in your browser, your file never leaves your device. There is no upload to a server, no account to create, and no waiting for a file to process in the cloud. The PDF is opened, edited, and saved locally on your own computer or phone, which makes it a safe choice for contracts, statements, and anything else you would rather not send to a stranger's server.
It helps to know how this kind of editing works. Rather than clicking into the existing text and retyping it, you add new elements on top of the page. To fix a typo or hide old information, you cover it with a white-out box and type the correct text over it. When you download, everything is flattened into the page, so your additions become a permanent part of the PDF.
