Processed in your browser - never uploaded
Unlock PDF removes the password from a PDF you can already open, giving you back an ordinary, unencrypted copy that no longer asks for a password every time. If you have a statement, payslip, or contract that prompts you for the same password on every open, this tool takes that lock off once so the file just opens.
It is important to be clear about what this does and does not do. It removes a password you already know: you have to type in the current password the PDF opens with. It cannot crack, guess, recover, or bypass a password you have lost or never had, so if you cannot already open the file, this tool cannot open it for you either.
Everything runs entirely inside your own browser. Your PDF and the password you type are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to a server, stored, or seen by anyone else, which makes it safe to use with sensitive financial and personal documents.
Add your PDF
Drag your password-protected PDF onto the tool or click to browse and select it. The file loads straight into your browser and is never uploaded anywhere.
Enter the current password
Type the password you already use to open this PDF. Only someone who knows this password can unlock the file, and it is never sent off your device.
Unlock the PDF
Click Unlock PDF. Your browser uses the password you supplied to remove the encryption and build an unlocked copy locally, in a moment.
Download your unlocked PDF
Save the unlocked copy, which now opens without any password prompt. Your original protected file stays exactly as it was.
The PDF and the password you enter are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to a server. That makes it safe for bank statements, tax documents, and other confidential files.
The result is a normal, unencrypted PDF with no password prompt, so you and anyone you choose to share it with can open it without typing a password every time.
It only removes passwords you already know and can enter. It does not pretend to crack or recover lost passwords, so you always stay in control of your own documents.
There is nothing to install and no account to create. Unlock as many PDFs as you like, and the downloaded copy carries no watermark.
Most online PDF tools upload your document to a server to process it. This one does not. Every operation runs inside your own browser using WebAssembly, so your files are read, processed, and saved locally - they are never transmitted, stored, or seen by Sapphire Broking or anyone else. That makes it safe to use with financial statements, contracts, and identity documents.

No. It does not guess, crack, or bypass unknown passwords, so there is nothing it can do if you have lost the password. It only removes a password you are able to type in.
No. The whole process runs inside your browser, so your PDF and the password you enter never leave your device or reach any server.
No. It creates a separate, unlocked copy for you to download, and your original protected PDF stays exactly as it was on your device.
No. Once the password is removed, the copy is no longer encrypted and anyone who has the file can open it, so store and share it carefully.
